Psycho-Physiological Biofeedback: What is it & how can it help?
Biofeedback is biological feedback of the physiological components in the body such as heart rate, pulse, brain-waves, breathing, skin moisture, skin temperature using a machine to measure these responses to stress.
The easiest to measure and learn to self-control is skin temperature - the calmer the person - the warmer the hands - which means the brain is also calmer and then it's easier to stop and think. The calmer the brain - the easier it is to control stress and the reaction to stressors.
Did you ever see the "Hulk" show up.
YES - been there - done that and hate it!
But there is hope for the "Hulk" whether it is you or someone you love.
Did you ever wonder why it is so difficult for the "Hulk" to self-control?
There is help from someone who has been there - done that and learned to
self-control it before it takes control by using psychophysiological biofeedback.
Had them all my life until I learned to self-control them by learning to use biofeedback and have not had one in over 30 years - yes - that is true!
If a person learns to be stressed - that person can learn to control
stress and how they respond to stressful situations.
